PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL
May / Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area
The 29th edition of Toronto’s preeminent, annual, month-long festival presents over a hundred exhibitions city-wide. Established and emerging artists will present lens-based works in exhibitions, public art installations, and commissioned projects at museums, galleries, and public spaces across Toronto.
The 2025 Core Exhibitions and Public Art Installations present works by artists and photographers exploring topics including anti-colonial practices, community-building, Afro-futurism, crip liberation, ceremony and revolution, and personal and collective memory, addressing violent gaps in historical archives. Curated exhibitions and public art installations are presented in partnership with institutions across the Greater Toronto Area.
Public Art Programs involve public artist talks, workshops, portfolio reviews and more.
In the Open Call Exhibitions you can visit community-generated exhibitions at venues throughout the city.
