The 28th edition of Toronto’s preeminent, annual, month-long festival presents over 130 exhibitions city-wide featuring more than 250 artists. Established and emerging artists will present lens-based works in exhibitions, public art installations, and commissioned projects at museums, galleries, and public spaces across Toronto.
The 2024 Core Exhibitions and Public Art Installations present works by artists and photographers exploring topics including anti-colonial practices, community-building, Afro-futurism, crip liberation, ceremony and revolution, and personal and collective memory, addressing violent gaps in historical archives. 36 curated exhibitions and public art installations, presented in partnership with institutions across the Greater Toronto Area.
Public Programs involve 44 public artist talks, workshops, portfolio reviews and more.
In the Open Call Exhibitions, you can visit 103 community-generated exhibitions at venues throughout the city.
