Gallery 1313 presented the 15th Annual Fantasy Fashion Show fundraiser, showcasing young, emergent Canadian talent in fashion. These artists imbue their tailoring with the abstract and imaginative qualities of fine art, creating a myriad of clever and impactful designs. Ranging from the whimsical to the sombre, from the modern- to classic-inspired, the show was voluminous and captivating. It caught the attention of multiple media outlets, such as CBC Toronto Arts, Forward Fashion, and the Parkdale Villager, as well as Parkdale’s own Federal MP, Arif Virani. Ultimately, it was able to raise $1300.00 for Gallery 1313’s operating budget.

Among the featured designers was local Theresa Ibbetson and her label IBOTEE, whose current line focused on (de)constructed realities. Her run included a musical accompaniment of Parkdale guitarist Fabian and the renowned international model, Paul Mason (formerly- and colloquially-known as the Fashion Santa). There was also Ana Graovac, Busk and Bone, INTROBANG and the Defective Collective, who displayed a variety of amazing works.
