Discover more than 80 independent projects by Toronto’s art community and four curated exhibitions featuring 48 projects produced by the City of Toronto. Some works encourage an intimate encounter with art, while others will wow you with large-scale spectacle.

Exhibitions:

The Night Circus – Roundhouse Park/Bremner Blvd

Curator Denise Markonish invites you to join the circus along Bremner Boulevard between York Street and Spadina Avenue and along Spadina Avenue between Wellington Street West and Bremner Boulevard. This is not your average circus with only clowns and lion tamers; instead it is an epic magical contest – turning an ordinary circus into a true spectacle of magic and wits. For Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2014, part of Toronto’s downtown will become its own ‘Night Circus’ activated by artists who will dazzle, entertain and enchant visitors.

Other exhibitions involve The possibility of everything, Before Day Break, Performance Anxiety and promise great entertainment.

Independent Projects produced by Toronto’s art community is the largest section in Nuit Blanche. Toronto artists, cultural and educational institutions, museums, galleries and neighbourhoods participate in Scotiabank Nuit Blanche each year by producing one-of-a-kind projects that transform the city.
