Have you noticed that there are increasing numbers of public art installations in Toronto? Heard about them but don’t know where they are? Driven by them but had no time to stop? Walked by and want to know more? Take our unique and fun bus tour, guided by art expert Betty Ann Jordan and art world insiders, and discover a critical mass of new inspiring works in Toronto’s downtown core. Venture into the heart of emerging neighborhoods as we travel by comfortable coach, exiting at some locations to see works up close. Witness Toronto’s evolving urban core and the energization of its public spaces through the lens of an impressive array of public art, all of it enhanced by Betty Ann’s insightful interpretations and behind-the-scenes stories.

The bus departs from the Gladstone Hotel (1215 Queen Street West, Toronto) at 2 p.m. SHARP and returns to the hotel at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive at 1:30 to receive your Snack Pack and find your seat.

TheGrand Tour includes works by: Vito Acconci, Jennifer Marman + Daniel Borins, Nestor Kruger and Carlo Cesta at West Harbour City; Douglas Coupland, Pierre Poussin, Mark Di Suvero, Katharine Harvey, Maha Mustafa, John McEwan, Francisco Gazitua and Adrian Göllner at Concord City Place; Troika at Corus Quay; Fastwurms, Olaf Breuning and Francisco Gazitua in Liberty Village; and a few surprises along the route.
