Thomas Bittner; Silo City: constance and change is an exhibition consisting of thirty six framed inkjet print photographs searching for what makes a place special? The answer is in a journey about a place that in which reveals itself in ways that are difficult to put in words. The exhibition documents Thomas Bittner’s discovery to a place called ‘Silo City’.

“Constancy vs. change, geometry vs. color, foreground vs. background,… Over a period of one year I explored these aspects of Silo City, a collection of ten disused silos along the Buffalo River. The resulting images are on display in my exhibition.” Thomas Bittner

Exhibition Run: August 27 – September 15, 2013, Hangman Art Gallery, 756 Queen Street East (east of Broadview Avenue). Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 12 – 5 p.m.
