You are cordially invited to the launch reception of yumart – a new art venture located in the heart of Toronto’s fashion & entertainment district, steps away from fabulous 401 Richmond and “Art at 80” on Spadina.
A unique retro low-rise building, yumart is situated on the 2nd floor of 101 Spadina Avenue on the southeast corner of Adelaide and Spadina.
yumart will launch on Thursday March 21st with an exhibition of paintings by Y.M. Whelan. “The Geography of Dreams: paintings past and present” will include new paintings as well as a selection of works spanning several decades. The selected paintings were created at specific studios in Toronto throughout the artists’ career – Manville in Scarborough, Artscape at King.
