WSAG is pleased to introduce the abstract works of Tai Selbach.

This is Tai Selbach’s first solo art show in Toronto. As a young emerging artist with a background in architecture, her artwork is filled with emotion and passion. Simplicity and the use of space best describe Tai’s artwork. The show’s title “Ó” (olha) is a Portuguese phrase which means “here it is – take a look”; a refreshing invitation into her world of art.

“I am an architect from Brazil now based in Toronto since January of this year. I also have lived in Vancouver for four years, where I started exploring new shapes of my artistic expression. I found that making art really allows me to understand my personal ghosts. Considered to be real-time memories, my body of work captures a moment that does not exist. It’s gone.” Tai Selbach, 2012
