Tools That Measure the Intensity of Passionate Interests is a series of large format silver gelatin prints representing imaginary tools designed to produce data on a wide variety of economic phenomena. This series explores how desire and belief influence economic discourse and practice, sustain current economies, but also carry the potential for subjects to imagine and enact other economies.

This series is being compiled into a book work by the same name co-published by the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow and Gallery 44 in Toronto. A second launch for the publication will take place in Toronto at Gallery 44 in September 2012.
