About the artists:
Catherine Heard is an artist whose compelling, visceral, often unsettling work in a diverse range of media has been exhibited widely, across Canada the United States and internationally.
Daniel Erban is a Montreal-based artist who has long been involved with artist-run culture. Erban has produced a remarkably extensive body of challenging and expressive paintings, drawings and prints throughout his career.
Ed Pien is a Toronto-based artist. His drawings, installations and video work have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Pien currently teaches at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the University of Toronto.
Toronto-based artist Fiona Smyth produces vibrant and energetic drawings, paintings and new media work which is widely recognized and highly acclaimed for its distinctive style.
The work of Michael Deforge has appeared in numerous gallery exhibitions and publications including Carousel Magazine, Vice Magazine and The Walrus. DeForge was a 2008 National Magazine Awards nominee in the category of “Best Illustration.”
Seth Scriver is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and is currently represented by Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Projects.
Balint Zsako works in painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and mixed media and has been exhibited in Canada, South Korea and Hungary.
