Jesus Mora was born in 1971 in a suburb near Mexico City. In 1995 studied drawing and painting in Mexico. Two years later he started his studies in Toronto School of Art. He registered at Ontario College of Art in 2000-2004 in the Drawing and Painting program and travel to Florence, Italy in his third year of the program.
