Marcos Lins

I have always enjoyed taking pictures of foreign lands and pretty sights, but I found myself frustrated with the quality of my images and I wanted to capture more than just what was before my eyes.

In pursuit of images that spoke to me, I enrolled in a photography course in my native Brazil back in 2003. In 2003 I immigrated to Canada and I loved the photography possibilities offered byte wide variety of landscapes and ever-changing seasons. While the sand and sun of Brazil were nice, I can’t help but love waiting for the sun to rise on a frigid winter morning just to capture a beautiful image – even if it means standing around in-30C!

Over the last nine years while I’ve honed my photography skills; I’ve also developed a passion for macro and landscape photography. I’ve travelled to many countries around the world and there’s always a feeling or a scene or a moment I want to capture through the lens. I specialize in producing large-size prints, primarily focusing on landscape and macro photography, but my eyes and my camera are always ready for the next adventure.
