Sigmund Freud described the uncanny or unheimlich as, something that is familiar to us in some ways, but it is also strange and unknown. Our gallery exhibition is being hosted in an uncommon space (a student townhouse) and will capture some of what Freud was talking about in “The Uncanny”. The exhibition will display a diverse selection of art created in different mediums, including painting, print, and sculpture.
