Hangman Art Gallery is proud to announce Creature Comforts, paintings by Richard Ahnert imaging scenes from stories inspired by everyday encounters with both humans and animals.
Anthropomorphism and other musings in oil explores and combines the traits and behaviors of animals with the common human rituals that connect and separate us from them. Richard creates a narrative in his paintings that encourages the viewer to contemplate and discuss the comforts and conflicts that arise from acknowledging our animal instincts.
Creature Comforts will prove to be a show that will ignite your imagination with each piece revealing a unique tale.
