Adam Lodzinski is based in Toronto.
He studied with photographers Irwin Karnick and Lawrence Wiseman, as well as painters, Susan Boone and Duncan de Kergommeaux.
The winner of numerous awards, he has participated in well over 150 exhibits in Canada, the United States and abroad.
This piece is the latest work in his “Biotica” series which consists of digital drawings of imaginary living specimens that clearly reference photographs but remain mute as to the scale or identity of the entity being depicted or the context in which it “exists.” By evoking a sense of energy and presence they remain more enigmatic than illustrative.
