“On Losing” intends to find a correlation between transitional periods in one’s life and the astronomical phenomenon of black holes. It is a representation of rhetorical items one can lose whilst transitioning toward their adult life. The spherical forms the items are placed in are representative black holes; connoting both presence and absence and thus evoking a sense of loss.
