The April art exhibit titled \u201cHERE and THERE\u201d demonstrates the comparison between life in the country and life in the city. The show will touch on the city\u2019s environmental impact and the effect urban expansion has on surrounding wildlife, drawing attention to the compromises animals are forced to make in order to thrive within an urban sprawl. This show will feature five artists who mesh a series of explorative ideas into a visually intriguing exhibition on the relatable topic of life\u2014from one extreme to the next. The title HERE and THERE is meant to bring up feelings of movement and contemplation to evoke a comparison within the audience, as well as encourage the viewer to think about the impacts of human life.<\/p>\n

The Opening Night Party will take place on Wednesday April 4, 2012, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Steam Whistle Brewing at 255 Bremner Blvd. You can visit the brewery during all of April to see the exhibition.<\/em><\/p>\n

About Steam Whistle Gallery:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Steam Whistle Brewing hosts monthly art exhibitions in their Gallery to showcase local creative talent.\u00a0 Although many exhibitors are established artists, some are showing for the first time.
