Themes of loss and re-emergence comingle with traces of a material history, inspired moments and the paradoxes of imagined experience.<\/p>\n<p>The representation of familiar, evocative objects and archival elements encourages the viewer to form a relationship with an abstract, unfolding story, while questions around authorship and authenticity complicate notions of objectivity and the personal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zev Farber<\/strong> is an interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto. He studied music at the University of Toronto and received his MFA in Visual Art from York University. He has shown work and performed in a number of Canadian and international galleries, including Blackwood Gallery, InterAccess Electronic Media Arts Centre, Flux Factory in New York and the Incheon Biennale in South Korea.
