Riconciliazione: molti anni di limbi (<\/strong>Reconciliation: many years in limbo)<\/p>\n

Works by Zoraida is a Colombian-born Canadian artist with little \u00a0formal art training. She has studied at Les Arts D\u00e9coratifs (Paris), and The Art Students League of New York (NY).<\/p>\n

\u00a0This body of work attempts to deconstruct the negative nuance attached to the experiences felt in the unreal state and place called the limbo. \u00a0The structure of the limbo seems to be founded on the notions of directionless, nothingness and hopelessness. These, however, do not have to be bad encounters. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Does it not feel good to experience the reconciliation of opposing forces like the not here but not there<\/em> \u2026. not heaven but not hell\u2026not right but not wrong<\/em>?\u00a0\u00a0These could be the points of reconciliation between oneself and the world.<\/p>\n

Thus these paintings hope to turn the limbo into a positive state and place where one can discover:\u00a0 the free zone<\/em> which is one\u2019s own sacred space and it can be anywhere.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As well, the viewer could meet the still point<\/em> which is known as the moment that changes us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
