She obtained her BFA with a major in photography at OCAD University in 2012 in Toronto. She is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is primarily photographic.\u00a0Her work explores the connections between the spiritual &amp; the scientific, the magical &amp; the conventional, the ethereal &amp; the mundane, and sociological satire &amp; mental illness. She is inspired by her peers, her personal experiences, and cheesy science fiction.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8220;On Losing&#8221; intends to find a correlation between transitional periods in one&#8217;s life and the astronomical phenomenon of black holes. It is a representation of rhetorical items one can lose whilst transitioning toward their adult life.
